Our story begins in Towson University's Burdick Hall, the home to the Towson Swimming and Diving team. It was 2014 and both Alison and Colin were freshman on the Towson University Swimming and Diving team. Alison, a diver and Colin, a swimmer both knew of each other through team events and social gatherings, but the two never made it a point to interact. By junior year, everyone in their class had declared a major and Alison and Colin were no different. On the first weekend of the new school year, Colin had hosted a party and the two learned through casual conversation that they had declared the same major, Finance. That night they exchanged numbers and vowed to help each other out with coursework as the year progressed. Long nights studying turned into an inseparable friendship. Their friendship blossomed and they spent every opportunity they had together. The two seemed to be on the same page about everything and realized that they were a perfect match. On May 10th of their junior year, Colin asked Alison to be his girlfriend. The two graduated in 2018 from Towson University and moved down to Federal Hill (Baltimore) where they spent the following years going on monthly milkshake dates to Prigel Family Farm, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and spending every weekend with family and friends! In April of 2022, Alison, Colin, and their two cats, Willow and Douglas Fur packed up their lives in Baltimore and bought a home in Lutherville - just 10 minutes down the road from Towson University, where it all started. Everything was perfect, but Colin knew there was still one crucial piece missing to the puzzle. It was on September 16th, 2023 when Colin brought Alison to Prigel for their monthly milkshake date. With family hiding in the background, Colin popped the question and of course Alison said yes!
