This is where we went on our first date and is still one of our favorite places in town! Everything is good, but we recommend the Black & Bleu steak, parmesan crusted chicken, and the mojito.
This is where Gaby first met Bruce and Jennifer (Ryan’s parents).
Our favorite breakfast restaurant! Everything is great, but we recommend the chicken fried steak and eggs or the Six Dollar Breakfast with French toast!
Another favorite breakfast spot! You can’t go wrong, but we recommend the sweet potato hash or the avocado toast. If you’re a black coffee drinker, go for the Americano (the best black coffee in Wheeling), or if you prefer something sweeter, go for the vanilla latte. Or if you prefer hot tea, try the Medicine Ball.
We recommend the house blend, iced coffee, and chai tea latte!
A Wheeling classic!
This is where Gaby works! It’s the best Mexican food in town!
We go on a group date here every Valentine’s Day! Even though the cheesy bread is a free appetizer, it’s one of the best parts of eating here!
Ryan found The Vineyard Church from eating here during his apartment hunting trip to Wheeling in 2018. His waitress was wearing a shirt that said, “I love my church,” and she recommended The Vineyard!
This is the premier destination in Wheeling! There is golf, tennis, playgrounds, hiking, walking, restaurants, a lodge, and beautiful views everywhere! Ryan asked Gaby to be his girlfriend in 2021 and his wife in 2022 at the picnic area that Google Maps calls, “The Loop.” There are also a lot of Memorial Day events going on during Memorial Day Weekend! Check out https://oglebay.com/ to see what’s going on!
This is a beautiful park in Wheeling, very close to Ryan home (and Gaby’s future home). There is walking, a playground, indoor tennis, golf, mini golf, and paddle boats.
This is a beautiful view of Wheeling! Ryan and Gaby stopped by here on their first date.
This is a historic landmark of Wheeling. It was the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time it was built. You can walk out on it and enjoy the beautiful views of the Ohio River. We recommend checking out the bridge after attending church at The Capitol Theater on Sunday morning!
Make sure to attend our church! We gather in the historic Capitol Theater in downtown Wheeling on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM!
Want to go on a picnic? Pick up some of the best BBQ in town and take it out to Oglebay or Wheeling Park! This is take-out only - they don’t have any seating. Make sure to check their hours on Google Maps!
This is a beautiful park in the middle of Saint Clairsville.
Go for a walk or bike ride along the Wheeling Heritage trail starting at Heritage Port in downtown! Heritage Port is the riverfront park on the north side of the WesBanco Arena. You can rent bikes from the Movatic bike rental station right next to WesBanco Arena, and we recommend you ride or walk north from Heritage Port.
