FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semiformal or cocktail attire. We want you to all be comfortable as you spend the day celebrating with us. PS: just don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Our date is late Sept in WI! So really anything goes! We are hoping for the best weather possible but WI weather likes to have a mind of it’s own. Expect 65+ weather (hopefully) and cooler evenings. Bringing a light jacket for once the sun sets.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

They are both taking place at the Black Sheep Wedding and Event Center in Green Bay, WI

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Expect the ceremony to be outdoors unless it’s raining, then it will be indoors along with the reception

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

As soon as the ceremony is over, the bar will open up and begin cocktail hour until dinner is served

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be a primarily adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We will have everyone invited addressed out on the invites to help you plan accordingly for any arrangements needed in order to be able to celebrate our evening with us.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Our chef has come up with a fantastic vegetarian dish for our guests and if anyone has any additional diet restrictions, please reach out and we will do our very best to help accommodate.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an UNPLUGGED ceremony. We ask for you to keep your phones in your pocket/purse or turn them off completely until after the ceremony. We want our photographers to be able to capture every perfect moment of our day and to help them achieve that we ask that no phones or cameras are out during the ceremony. As soon as it’s over, feel free to whip them out and take any picture you desire. We definitely would love if you shared them to us as well afterwards!
