Groom's friends and family gather for the Baraat ceremony at Udaipur City Palace. This is when the groom arrives on a horse (quite literally). The event is naturally accompanied by drums, music, and dancing.
5:00 pm
Baraat (Groom's Party) arrives at the Rameshwar Ghat Jetty to proceed to Jagmandir Island Palace on boats. Chartered boats shall be stationed at Rameshwar Ghat Jetty to shuttle all guests and Baraat to and from the venue. Baraat and all guests arrive at Jagmandir Island Palace and are welcomed by the Bride's family.
6:30 pm
This is the wedding ceremony. The bride and groom circle fire during the ceremony seeking blessings from the gods, making their wedding vows.
8:00 pm
Post-wedding ceremony dinner & drinks, dance performances (aka battle) and more dancing to the DJ.
