Some love stories begin with grand gestures, and then there’s ours—a slow and steady journey built on endless conversations and shared laughter. It all began with a humble matrimonial ad in a newspaper—a nod to tradition that somehow brought two introverts together. Our first phone call lasted 7 hours, covering every topic imaginable: Batman to Shahrukh Khan, life’s quirks, favorite snacks, and everything in between…except the wedding. We didn’t plan it, but by the end of that call, it felt like we’d known each other forever. The “yes” to move forward wasn’t one moment; it was an accumulation of all the little moments that made us feel like we’d found our person. Life snuck up on us, subtle and unexpected, just like how Vibhu sneaked California out of my heart and replaced it with Seattle! (Fine, you win, Vibhu. But just this once, okay?)
