After connecting online on Hinge, we exchanged numbers and began an awkward initial exchange of texts which after a couple days gave way to a more comfortable banter. Fast forward a few weeks and we met for our first date at Elizabeth Park on one of the hottest days of summer 2021. We strolled through the park under the scorching sun getting to know each other - sharing details about our work, friends and family, talking about the TV shows we liked and just in general trying to impress each other - Jayson more so than Priti 😉. After settling down in the shade, Jayson brought out his guitar and played a bunch of tunes Priti couldn’t recognize. But one can assume he was successful impressing her because four years later, here we are - planning a wedding and looking forward to a beautiful future together.
