Lovett Hall Evening Private Event Directions and Parking

Answer

Enter campus from Oakwood Boulevard. The Henry Ford security gate with blue flags will confirm your event destination. Follow drive (behind museum) to Lovett Hall parking; enter through front of Lovett Hall. The Henry Ford is a large, multivenue destination. GPS directions may not be accurate on campus. If you are using third-party transportation such as Uber, Lyft or a limousine service, please be sure they are aware of your specific venue and directions as noted above. Is there a dress code?

Cocktail or formal attire. Please no jeans!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your kids are included in your invitation they are more than welcome. Otherwise, if you’d like to find a sitter and let your hair down, please do!

Yes! There’s free parking at The Henry Ford Museum & Lovett Hall.

When should I RSVP by?

The tab to RSVP will be open once the formal invitations are sent. Please RSVP by August 20, 2024.

Open Bar - Bring your ID!

Answer

There will be an open bar, however, a government issued ID (drivers license, passport, etc.) will need to be shown to the bartenders for anyone ordering an alcoholic beverage.

Can I bring a date?

If a date is included on your invitation, then please bring them!

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 6:00pm. Plan to arrive by 5:30pm or you may miss out on seeing us get married!

Is there transportation between the The Henry hotel and the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "travel" page for exact departure times for the shuttle to Lovett Hall as well as times for when the shuttle can take you back to the hotel at the end of the night.
