When I moved to DC, Melissa ignored my texts when I asked if she'd be interested in being roommates (we've moved past that) but I can honestly say she the best friend a girl could have.

Thomas and I met on December 5, 1992 in San Francisco, CA. We hit it off once we both found out we had the same mom and dad, and have been best friends ever since!

I’ll be forever thankful that Granville chose her to be my random suitemate freshman year at UNC and we even remained roommates all four years of college. From college to postgrad life, she has remained one of my best friends and I can't imagine my life without her. She is always up for a night out on the town (even in Shelby!), margs and mexican food, or just staying in and cooking single serving cookies. Beth is the most kind-hearted, fun, and genuine friend and I love her so much!

Trent and I met back in 8th grade while I was the waterboy for Weddington Middle School football games. Being a stud and not concerned with the likes of waterboys, Trent doesn't remember our first encounter and has been constantly guilt-tripped because of it. Still, one of my best friends and will always be.

Kirbie and I met back in the good ‘ol days... aka Weddington Middle School (Go Wildcats!). We saw each other from time to time in high school but really reconnected our freshman year of college (after Kirbie and Megan refused to be my suitemate in Granville... yes, I’ve forgiven them). We became closer throughout all of college and remained best friends and still are to this day. We have shared countless memories on the TOPO dance floor, Local dance floor, and everywhere in between. Kirbie is the most fun, up for anything, caring friend and I couldn’t imagine life without her.

Rob and I met my freshman year at NC State, and worked as RAs together the next 3 years. Throughout college we enjoyed our fair share of shenanigans, and continue to do so to this day. Rob is the kind of lifelong friend you hope to have, and one I'm lucky to share a friendship with.

Hunter was one of my first DC friends (even though at this point we're convinced we met on the Goodfellows dance floor in college) and we have spent countless days and nights exploring the district together. From 90's music to frose and Nationals games to Town Hall, we've shared some of my favorite DC memories together and she has become one of my best friends!
Brandon Ramos

Brandon and I met during the middle of my freshman year at NC State when he became my RA midway through the year. Over the next three years, we tag-teamed our RA duties on the 5th floor of UT and formed a bond few can say they have. While distance has separated us after school, Ramos is one of my best friends and a guy who will always be there for you.

Megan and I first met in middle school and have remained friends ever since! From college life to post-grad life, she has always been someone who I can turn to for anything. We spent COUNTLESS nights in the UL together during college but we can always be found tailgating and cheering on the Tarheels or Panthers. Megan has a heart of gold and I am so thankful to have a friend as genuine as her.

I met Josh, better known as Eugene, during my freshman year at NC State and then worked alongside him for 3 years as an RA. Always down for a quick 18 and a shot of fireball, Eug always knows how to have a good time.

Lindsey and I have always been close as cousins but we became even closer when I lived with her my first year after college. She is one of the best people I know and I will never forget our car rides, breakfast dates, or sleepovers down the hall. She is the closest thing I have to a sister and I am forever grateful for her!

I met Matt, Lauren's brother, during my freshman year of high school when he was probably 4-5 years old, running up and down the basketball bleachers and being chased by his dad. Fast-forward to today, and I can't wait to call him my brother-in-law.
