WE GOT MARRIED

We were set up on a blind date by Pierson's sister, Hunter Fossier, and met January 17, 2018. It was an icy day in Lafayette, Louisiana, and we had rescheduled three times. When we finally did meet for coffee, we sat and talked for five hours, the connection obvious to both of us. Thank goodness for acquaintances like Hunter (now one of my closest, dearest friend, and sister), who barely knew me, but somehow decided to set us up anyway!

On July 2, 2020, we packed up both our cars, and a U-haul, and moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This is where we have rented a cute little one-bedroom apartment with our cat, named Gretta. Christine got accepted to Middle Tennessee State University to study Sociology. She is working as a graduate teaching assistant there and loving this new adventure and challenge! Currently, Christine is thinking about pursuing a career in public policy research, either at a local government level, or for a non-profit. Christine also works part time as a Starbucks Barista, and volunteers in the community on the weekends. Pierson is working full-time as an Uber Eats Delivery Driver currently, and is exploring career options and disc golf courses. It's been enjoyable to get to know the city while doing this work! We both love hiking here, and have seen beautiful waterfalls and wildlife! We plan to explore more within this state of Tennessee while it's still our temporary home.
