Does La Vie have valet parking?

Answer

La Vie does not have valet. You will need to use the parking garage as described in the previous question.

What time should I get there?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue no later than 4:45pm. Please make sure to factor in parking and walking time as apart of your arrival time. The ceremony is on the rooftop and access to the elevator will be locked at 5pm. Late arrival will cause you to miss the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Is there an open bar?

Yes, there is! Make sure to bring singles for tipping your bartenders!

Dinner will be served Family Style. Everyone will be able to taste all three entrees which includes Salmon, Roasted Chicken and Short Ribs.

Can I come to the after party and bring guest?

Yes, the after party at 12 Stories is open to anyone who would like to come! Just let them know your there for the James party.

Can I bring my children?

In consideration of limited venue space, we've opted for an adults-only event to create a relaxed atmosphere for all our guest. Thank you for understanding.

Do I need to get a hotel on Friday?

Answer

For our family and friends traveling down 95 or farther, it may be best to travel down on Friday. Traffic south of Baltimore gets extremely heavy on the weekends especially when getting close to DC and most hotels will not let you check in until 3pm. To make it easy and fun, come down on Friday and have a fun weekend in DC!
