Thru mutual friends that thought we would be a good match for each other, we started talking on the phone. To no fault of Dioni’s, I stopped talking to him on the phone because I was just so done trying to find a relationship and had lost faith that I would find one. But after Dioni called a few times and said friend told me “ just meet him, give him a chance”. I thought I should. So I did! For our first date, I picked Dioni up in Corona and we went to the Jacob Javitz car show :) It was a great fun date! We hit it off right away!! From then on! We spent as much time as possible together. We literally became inseparable.

Dioni had it all planned, Tickets to the “Top of The Rock” But It was raining and very wet out on the open deck. The floor was wet, it was windy and people were just holding onto their umbrellas and ponchos! lol. We both knew what each other was thinking and said, we gotta go. We then decided to go to Sofrito Restaurant on Riverside Drive. It was perfect, the rain had stopped. They were playing music as we were sitting down at our table eating awesome food. The music stopped, The DJ said “ we have a very special moment in the house” And Dioni then went down on one knee. I was so happy, almost didn’t get to say Yes! But said it of course! “ Yes of course !” The DJ then played the perfect song, John Legend “ All of Me” while everyone was clapping for us. It was magical!
