During your time in Mazatlan, you must visit the Plaza Machado. Plaza Machado is the city's most historic place, you can consider it as the heart and soul of Mazatlan. Come to the Machado during the evening to enjoy delicious restaurants and live music.

The best way to view all of Mazatlan's beautiful ocean is to walk down the 13-mile Malecon. Mazatlan's Malecon is Mexico's longest boardwalk.

Enjoy your time swimming and snorkeling at Isla de Venados (deer island). You can take a quick trip to the island by taking a panga (small boat). If you do visit the island plan to pack your own drinks and snacks.
