Fresh off Grad school, Priscilla was ready for her first teaching position! Nervous and excited, she began her teaching journey at a small, private school in Fremont. Low and behold, Edwin was recently hired at the school as well. There, they started a friendship- bonding over Everybody Loves Raymond quotes, after school snacks and more! The rest is history!

The day before, Priscilla was on a trip to Napa with her dad and grandma. So, the day of the proposal, she was feeling tired and just wanted a makeup free day. The week before, her brother, Isaac, asked if she was interested in eating a sandwich in SF. Priscilla put on leggings and a sweater, no makeup, hair undone and was ready to head out the door. To her surprise, Isaac was dressed nicely. While on the phone with her godsister, Ingrid, tried to subtly convince Priscilla to at least wear jeans. Priscilla's mom also tried to compliment Priscilla's curls the day before. With their team effort, Priscilla decided to get a little more dressed up, slight makeup and hair curled before heading out to SF. Priscilla still had no idea, and joked, "with all the effort you all were doing, you'd think I'd be getting engaged or something!" Isaac was very good at playing it off! Priscilla even texted Edwin pictures of what she was wearing, which he used to coordinate for his own outfit. On the way back from SF, Priscilla's dad called and said that he had a "little surprise" he wanted to show us in the backyard. Again, Priscilla had no idea what was about to happen. Once they arrived back home, Priscilla saw Ingrid and a photographer, and everything suddenly clicked! Edwin had been planning the proposal with Ingrid and her family for a few months! He prepared a beautiful video (inspired by a Wong Fu video) encapsulating their relationship up to the proposal and ended down on one knee, popping the question <3
