On a cold January night, after an accident left Priscilla without a car, she ordered an Uber Pool to head to her overnight work shift. After sneaking a glimpse of the driver's photo, Priscilla decided to sit in the front seat to get a better look at the seemingly handsome guy - a move she'd never done prior. Conversation flew naturally over the quick 10-minute ride and by the time she arrived at her destination, there was undoubtedly chemistry between Priscilla and the cute Uber driver, Alex. As Priscilla said farewell to Alex and shut the door, a third member of the Uber Pool - a guy in the backseat - gasped to Alex, "Why didn't you get that girl's phone number?!" Priscilla quickly called her mother in the Dominican Republic telling her, “Encontre el hombre de mi vida” (Translation “I just found the man of my life!") With neither Alex nor Priscilla having social media accounts, it was up to LinkedIn to bridge the connection. As fate would have it, the open hearts Priscilla and Alex shared during their ride was enough for Priscilla to find Alex's profile on LinkedIn with ease. Alex from Aspen works at Bank of America... search... found! A week passed and Priscilla and Alex continued to reminisce on their short time together until Priscilla finally sent Alex a message. They exchanged phone numbers, and 2 days later instantaneously ordered the same chicken and waffles dish at Punchbowl Social. As they awaited their meals, Alex smiled at Priscilla saying, "Something strange has been happening... I've been getting all of these notifications of people from the Dominican Republic looking at my LinkedIn profile." (It was Priscilla's mother and friend.) Priscilla laughed and replied, "Oh, that's so strange."
