FAQs

Question

What kind of wedding is this?

Answer

This is an elopement style wedding. It’s smaller and shorter than your traditional wedding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Think elevated but comfortable—suits, dresses, and heels or dressy flats.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony so we can start on time.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. August evenings can cool down, so we recommend bringing a light layer.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at the venue. We highly recommend carpooling when possible due to limited space.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

What is the best way to get to Bainbridge Island?

Answer

If you’re coming from Seattle, the Bainbridge ferry is the most scenic and convenient option. Driving around is also an option.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying on Bainbridge Island, in Poulsbo, or in Seattle if you’d like to explore the city.

Question

What are the best coffee spots?

Answer

On Bainbridge Island, we love Pegasus Coffee House. In Poulsbo, our favorite is Birdies Coffee House.

Question

What should we do while we’re in town?

Answer

We’ve added a few of our favorite spots on the “Things to Do” page—highly recommend taking time to explore Bainbridge and Poulsbo!
