We met at the 4-H trip to Congress our freshman year of high school. Seth had seen Kaylee at the coffee shop and it just so happened we were getting on the same bus to go home from the trip. Seth saw Kaylee and asked if he could sit. Kaylee said yes. We spent the next two hours talking to each other and have been best friends ever since.

The proposal was supposed to be elaborate. There was supposed to be music, food, and a gazebo. There was food and a ring. When we got there every spot including every back-up spot was taken for some type of event or another. Houston Vincent had the ring, guitar, and a black cowboy hat. While at dinner Seth was frantically trying to text Houston, under the table, trying to find a new spot to propose. The new spot was restricted so the music had too be cut. While trying to keep Kaylee from finding out she spots Houston walking to the newly located spot from the balcony of the restaurant. The black Cowboy hat. After every plan possible fell apart, it was a magical night. The proposal was winged, but it made it that much more special.
