Autumn is a unicorn in many ways. For one, she seems to be the only person who lives in Arizona who was actually born here. She and Jessica met in 2005 when Jessica was still very new in Arizona and lacking in friends. She took her under her wing at the community theatre - Autumn starred in the play and Jessica was the little weirdo who hid in the light booth, they have been friends ever since. Autumn and her husband - then boyfriend - Pat are the two people that made Jessica feel welcome in the desert town full of strangers.

Maryse is Jessica's sister-in-law. Brother David and Maryse met at a climbing gym when he was stationed in Georgia. Maryse had just gotten to the states from Moonbeam, Ontario in the way way way way north. The first time Jessica and Maryse met, Jessica knew this woman was going to be her family forever. Maryse's positivity, energy, and general joie de vivre make it impossible not to love her.

John's dad found out he had a daughter he was never told existed, through the beauty of DNA testing, the family got to meet John's long lost sister, and boy did we win the lottery. Katie is an incredible human. Driven, talented, and gorgeous. She is a mother of two and an all around badass.
