It all started with a napkin...

A Celebration of Love and Friendship

It was the beginning of Summer in 2016 Brittney was waiting tables at Puffys Pizza on a very slow very hot summer afternoon. Michael and his cousin Nikki had come in for lunch, Brittney had know idea who Michael was but she did know Nikki from school. Brittney was under the impression that Michael was Nikki's boyfriend so she didn't really think much of him at the time. Michael was very shy and he didn't say much to her. Later that afternoon after they left one of the other waitresses that was working with Brittney had cleaned off their table and brought her a crumpled up napkin with writing on it and said she found it in the trash and it was probably from the handsome guy that came in earlier. It had a phone number and read "I know this is cheesy but I think your cute text me". Brittney thought it was weird he would of left her a note like that after just eating lunch with his girlfriend so she threw it away. Later that night when Brittney got off work and had a message from Nikki saying her COUSIN really liked her and wanted to ask her out. Brittney was so relieved Nikki was not dating him and Brittney messaged Michael that night. After talking for a couple weeks He took her on their first date. Brittney didn't think it was possible to fall in love with someone just after one date. Loving someone was a very hard thing for her to admit, even though the couple broke up for a few months they still talked everyday and spent every weekend together. Michael and Brittney were best friends, Brittney said she couldn't imagine ever going through life without him. a few months before she graduated high school Michael decided to join the Marines. It broke her heart, Saying goodbye to him was very painful but it was at that moment that she realized that she didn't want to ever be without him, and she loved him with all her heart and that cheesy grease covered napkin was the best thing that had ever happened to the couple. They got engaged December 2017.
