The venue site can only accommodate 40 individuals, including vendors. Unfortunately, the limited capacity, along with Preston and Hannah's dream of having an intimate celebration, means that there is a limit to extra guests. Your understanding is appreciated!
When touring venues, Preston and Hannah fell in love with the mountain view from the summit. Sadly, the state park does not allow catering at the Vista House. Instead, a reception will be hosted at High Country Orchard
Upon entering the state park, drive straight (well, as straight as the road allows) until you reach Selkirk Lodge. Once there, you should see a sign directing you to turn left. Follow this road until you reach the parking lot. Note: Apple Maps doesn't have directions to the Vista House; use Google Maps instead.
Yes, every vehicle must display a Discover Pass upon entering the state park. If any guest needs assistance obtaining a Discover Pass, please reach out.
There are limited parking spots at the summit, so please plan to carpool with other guests, 4-5 per vehicle.
The ceremony will be 'unplugged,' and guests are asked not to take photos. Please download the "POV" app (available on Apple and Google Play stores) and create an account to take photos during the reception!
All guests will receive bottled water and Gatorade as they arrive at the Vista House. Additional drinks and snacks will be offered as they depart for High Country Orchard.
Please park facing away from the reception building towards the trees. There will be helpful signs posted.
The distance is 23 miles and takes approximately 1 hour to drive. Please be safe and do not rush. The reception will begin at 5 p.m.
There is a public outhouse available at the summit. Once the ceremony is concluded, guests will have time to seek restrooms on the way to the reception if needed.
