Our StoryOur Story

Preston and Swetha first met way back in the year 2013. To set the scene, it was a bright and sunny, first day of volunteer orientation at Holy Cross Hospital. Both Preston and Swetha were assigned to work at the hospital gift shop that summer. I guess Preston was too shy to speak, so he ended up drawing up a game of tic-tac-toe, sliding it to her across the counter, and the rest was history! However, Preston eventually left the gift shop and they had no form of communication. The two would occasionally run into each other from time to time, at high school fundraisers and even college fairs! As time went on, they grew closer as friends, and eventually began dating their senior year of high school, in 2015. These two love birds were able to see each other grow from itty bitty teens, to beautiful adults, going through different phases of life, one day at a time. After 9 whole years of dating, you can imagine how many times people asked them when they would get married! Well, that day has finally come, and their journey started with an amazing surprise proposal on New Years Eve of 2023 (ten years from when they first met!). Swetha was told she'd be having a graduation photoshoot this day, but little did she know that Preston, and a team of family and friends, had orchestrated such an amazing proposal! The next step in their journey together is having the presence of all of their friends and family as they say “I do”. They're so happy that you're here to celebrate their love!

For all the days along the way
