Nichole side, In August 2024 I decided to give dating apps another shot. I came to the realization that I wasn't going to meet someone in some romantical way since I hardly ever left my home and the chances of me talking to a man when I did leave my house was even less probable. My intention wasn't to find my person but just to get some more dating experience, I wanted to be ready for when my person came. I had been on the app for all of one week when a new match came up for a shirtless guy doing a pull up, his message....."kitty(smiling teary face emoji)" not the best opener but lucky for us I will take any excuse to talk about by guy Leo, so I swiped right. From there we talked nonstop, conversation was easy and flowed naturally, it was the first guy that I talked to that didn't give me anxiety. We set up our first date a week later at a local Mexican restaurant, it was also the first date that I wasn't nervous to go on, my heart already knew. We talked about futures and viewpoints, and everything felt so easy, I felt safe with someone for the first time in a long time and I knew he was it for me. Since then, I've only fallen more in love with him, each day he shows me how much he loves me, not only with his words, but his actions too. Preston's Side: I was sitting in my cubicle at work on September 5th, 2024 using some downtime to swipe on Hinge. When all of the sudden the most beautiful woman I've ever seen comes across. Her name was Nichole and after going through her profile I saw her Kitty Leo. Using my infinite wisdom and perfect pickup lines, I simply sent the word "Cat" with the cat emoji. Leo has been instrumental in how we met and started talking. From there the rest is history, we talked for hours on end with our messages being able to be classified as short novels. We had our first date at a little Mexican restaurant a couple weeks later and she walked in in a cute pink dress and I was at a loss for words, her pictures did not and still do not do her justice as seeing her in person blew me away in every aspect of the word. We had a wonderful first date that lasted for 4-5 hours where when the restaurant closed we went outside to sit on a bench for another hour just chatting. We quickly kept going on more and more dates and I realized that I've never experienced love like this. Nichole is the most amazing woman I have ever met and talked with. I knew within about 8 months that she is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. She has been patient with me and loving every day since we met. I've never felt so safe with someone and able to always let my inner kid out when I'm with her, she brings me a peace that people in true love understand.
