Question

Ask away!

Answer

If you have any questions that are not listed here, please don't hesitate to contact the bride or groom!

Question

What time should i arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. We will not be able to delay the ceremony for anyone running late due to the early sunset in December and photos taking place after the ceremony. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We would love for our guests to get dressed up with us! In staying with our wedding theme and colors, we kindly request our guests to dress in BLACK. We hope you'll love this personal touch as much as we do. Cocktail attire is requested. NO JEANS PLEASE. Men may wear white or grey dress shirts with suit jackets. For any additional attire questions, just reach out to the bride or groom!

Question

When should i rsvp?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you know whether you will be able to attend or not. We kindly ask that you RSVP by October 26th. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as "not attending" due to final arrangement cut off dates. If you have any questions please call or text the bride or groom!

Question

I rsvp’d yes and now I cant make it

Answer

You will be missed! If you RSVP'd ‘yes’ and now you can't make it, we understand but please contact the bride or groom directly and let us know as soon as possible. The cost of the wedding is per person, each RSVP counts.

Question

Can i bring a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. Unfortunately, due to budget & capacity constraints, we cannot extend a plus one to all our guests. We hope you understand.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We have decided to keep our wedding adults only. Please take this opportunity to enjoy a date night. We appreciate you making prior arrangements. This, of course, excludes those in our bridal party.

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, our cocktail hour will be held outside, and it may be chilly. Plan accordingly. Ladies- the grass is turf so heels will be fine!

Question

Can I Take Photos During The Cermony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we are requesting all phones be put away during our ceremony so that all our guests can be present with us during this time. We will have a professional photographer & videographer to capture this moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like. & we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible!

Question

Can I park overnight?

Answer

No, unfortunately Desert View Weddings does not allow overnight parking accommodations including the access road. We apologize for any inconvenience.
