FAQs

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than (Date to be Decided). We look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What are your wedding colors, and should guests coordinate?

Answer

Our palette is navy and burnt orange, accented with dusty blue and tan. Guests are not expected to coordinate with our colors—please don’t match. Just avoid white/ivory and enjoy choosing something you love.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to TEXT Sam Hertenstein (MOH/Bride's sister) at 567.279.3716.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love children and are so happy to celebrate with the little ones who are included on your invitation. While we wish we could extend the invitation to all of our guests' children, we are keeping the celebration more intimate and are only able to accommodate those specifically listed.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and dress shirt/pants (tie optional) for men.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all of our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation/RSVP section of the website are included. Thank you for your anticipated understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony- that way, everyone has time to park, find their seat, and settle in before we say, "I Do." The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm and we want to make sure no one misses a moment.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As long as weather cooperates, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outside.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking for everyone. We are asking everyone to please park at the 2 following addresses and walk down the lane to the ceremony space. 16707 Saint Marys River Road, Saint Marys, OH 45885 16681 Saint Marys River Road, Saint Marys, OH 45885

Question

Photos & Social Media

Answer

We're asking all guests to honor our unplugged ceremony- that means no phones, cameras, or tablets during the ceremony itself. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'll happily share photos with you later. Once the reception begins, feel free to take all the photos and videos your heart desires!

Question

Food & Beverages

Answer

There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. There will also be appetizers, dinner, and desserts provided.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The Drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly!

Question

Is the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception all at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Everything will take place on Josh/Laura's (Alex's parents) property. We aren't doing a first look, so there will be some time between the ceremony and reception for the bridal party and family to get pictures. We will have drinks, snacks, and yard games available for everyone during cocktail hour.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance on the website when you RSVP.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony/cocktail hour/reception will move indoors to The Barn. (This is still on the same property.)

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date in which we have requested, you will be marked as a "No." We will miss celebrating with you; however, please understand we must provide total guest counts to our vendors in a timely manner. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVPs. (Please do not just show up as we will not be able to accommodate seating, food or beverage.)

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.
