Preston and McKenna first met back in 2016 while they were in high school. Their time together was short-lived, and depending on which one of them you ask, they “briefly dated.” Years later, in November 2023, they reconnected—Preston had just moved back to Arizona, and McKenna was returning home from South Carolina. Their first date was dinner and a bonfire at Bartlett Lake. Fast forward to April 2025, when Preston proposed to McKenna at the top of Haleakalā Crater—in the pouring rain.
