Michael Benedict

Groom

Fun fact - these pictures of us are what we had on our profiles when we met on Plenty of Fish!

Allison Bouton

Maid of Honor

Alli and I met in 9th grade English. We were paired together for a project and have been inseparable ever since. We became infamous in the high school hallways for randomly shouting each others name every morning to announce we were there. Countless inside jokes that would keep us laughing for hours made those long 4 years fly by. We've laughed and cried together; held each other together in the tough times and laughed until our faces hurt. There isn't anyone else I would pick to be my maid of honor, because it really is an honor to call Alli my best friend.

Nick Nell

Best Man

Moving to Collegeville in 2000 my mother told me that I would find my best friend for life. On the bus ride home during the first week of school I overheard Nick and an older student talking about playing Nintendo 64 with one another at Nick’s house. Wanting to be a part of this experience, I simply invited myself over! From the very first day Nick and I bonded like we were brothers and both our families adopted us as their new sons (they absolutely loved us both). Going on almost 20 years now, he and I have been virtually inseparable and although distance has sometimes been a factor, our friendship has never faded. There is no one I would rather have at my side as my best man!

Kristen Vacey

Bridesmaid

Kristen (henceforth referred to as Verni) and I met in 8th grade... well she was in 8th grade, I was in 7th. Being a year older than me I spent a lonely year in middle school without her. When I got to high school with her and our other friends, I was dubbed Freshman, and I don't think she has used my name since. Which is fine considering she got married and is no longer Verni but I still call her that. I spent many nights watching TV shows and movies, playing video games and generally just being a bum in the Woman-Cave. Every 4th of July for almost a decade we had the best fireworks show in the neighborhood and the sparkler bomb finally works. We have so many memories together and I can't wait to add my wedding to the list. Also, you lost.

Kara Bailey

Groomsmaid

Kara and I first met at Penn State sharing an awful class together, bonding as we supported one another to get by. Throughout our time in college our friendship blossomed and going on well over a decade now she has been one of the closest and best friends I ever could have asked for. Kara is a fierce and loyal friend, we have been a part of one another’s lives for so long, and sharing so many life experiences I have lost count. Our time together has meant the world to me and I am truly blessed to have her in my life.

Stephen Presti

Bridesman

Steve and I grew up tolerating each other (read: he tolerated his bratty little sister because mom said so). We became closer as we got older and more mature. With a mutual love of horror movies, hard rock/metal music and making Mike lose his mind at Oregon Trail, we've become closer than ever. I couldn't picture getting married without my brother by my side. I love you Steve, and you bet I'm going to give you a big kiss with lipstick. By the way, glug glug.

Jeannette Cambridge

Bridesmaid

Netty and I met on the school bus in middle school. Being a year older than me, I suffered a whole year without her. Marching band and football games were way more fun with Netty by my side in our terrible outfits. We had so many amazing trips to Six Flags and a roller coaster vacation in Ohio, literally. Netty was usually the voice of reason for about 3 seconds then joined in with the shenanigans. Every place we went we had to find some stupid hats and try them on. I can't promise stupid hats but I can promise a good time. I can't wait to have you stand by my side at my wedding.

Kyle Bailey

Groomsman

Kyle “Ron” Bailey, is one of my closest friends who I first met in middle school. Although we were not super close at the time, it was during our years together at Penn State that his wife Kara brought us both together. Over the years we have formed a friendship I cherish deeply; Ron is like a brother to me and we have been a part of one another’s lives for almost two decades. As we have shared many milestones of life together, I am extremely happy to have him be a part of the biggest one yet for me to pass.

Jon Mudrick

Groomsman

Loran Mihalek

Bridesmaid

Loran and I met in Vet Tech school. We became instant friends and competitors, always trying to stay at the front of the class. We bonded over Harry Potter, Sarah J. Maas, and horror movies from the moment we met. Our friendship has been filled with laughter and love and I can't wait to share my wedding day with you!

John Boronkas

Groomsman

I was introduced to John through Kyle and Kara who host an annual, weekend long Harry Potter party. Like me, John showed up early to help setup and even before the weekend got going it was obvious that John was simply a great guy. They say that every Slytherin needs a Hufflepuff and I can think of no one better to fill that role in my life. We have grown close over the past few years and our friendship continues to strengthen. As I stood by John as recently got married, I am grateful that he will soon do the same with me.

Cara Morgan

Bridesmaid

Cara and I met at Manor College. We became fast friends. We've had so many adventures together including a middle of the night ride in a police car and moving into a couple different apartments. Running SCNAVTA together was a blast. And of course lab lab. WHALES! I'm so excited to share this adventure with you by my side!

Mike Smith

Groomsman

Mike Smith and I met freshmen year of College as he was Nick Nell’s roommate; it did not take long after the first meeting for us to bond as we both got along famously. Mike is a great person and Nick and I considered him a third extension of our friendship. His family, who I absolutely adore, adopted me and we spent lots of time together bonding and growing through the years.

Ivanna Rivera

Bridesmaid

Evie and I also met at Manor College. We instantly bonded over music, movies and our dark sense of humor. We love horror movies and everything with it. We've shared some amazing experiences with Manor and gone to a few concerts. Everything we do is always filled with laughter and love and just a bit of sarcasm. I can't wait to make more wonderful memories with you as you stand with me on my wedding day!
