Matron of Honor
Allison met Emily in 2010 while attending Pharmacy school at UNC, but became close after rooming together in Asheville during 4th year clinical rotations in 2013. Emily put up with Allison's insistence to go try new restaurants. After leaving NC for residency (Emily to Indiana and Allison to Georgia), they reunited in Raleigh as roommates during PGY2 residency year. Emily put up with Allison's insistence on buying new couch pillows. When Allison moved to Savannah, Emily stayed a close friend, and allowed Allison to be the third wheel to her and Donovan. Allison always approved of Donovan as a fellow Wolfpacker of course! Now, Emily and Donovan live just down the road from David and Allison, and they often enjoy evenings watching ballgames, while the boys try to eat the hottest wings in the Triangle. Allison is honored to have Emily as her Matron of Honor!

Allison met Mandy in preschool ~1990, and put up with Allison's bossiness throughout grade school. Allison spend many fall breaks in Boone, staying in Mandy's dorm and befriending all her teaching fellow friends. Mandy never left Boone, and Allison would drive up on weekends to play on Jesse's men's slow-pitch team. Mandy trusted Allison to design her wedding program, ice her wedding cake, and paint a dreamcatcher for Annie's baby shower. Every trip to Boone over the years included a meetup with Mandy and Allison is very blessed from this lifelong friendship!
Bridesmaid
Allison met Jessica in 2012 after Chris visited this OT student in Charleston for a few weekends in a row, claiming to be "checking out their dental program". Over the years, Jessica has grown from an awesome sister-in-law to an amazing friend. Jessica and Allison have taken girls trips together to Savannah and Charleston, and still enjoy date nights together in Durham attending DPAC shows that don't interest Chris. Jessica and Chris enjoy going to concerts with Allison and David, such as Tyler Childers in Raleigh and Jason Isbell in Beech Mountain. Jessica blessed Aunt AP with an incredible niece and nephew, who will undoubtedly steal the show at the wedding ceremony! Allison and David aspire to be parents like Chris and Jessica someday!
Bridesmaid
AP met the other AP in Savannah, GA while working at St. Joseph's/Candler, but they became close in 2020 as running buddies in Forsyth Park. Allison Powell and Mark graciously hosted Allison for Covid Christmas in 2020, and the tradition of eating meals together continued when they moved to Fayetteville in 2021. Allison Powell and Mark joined the Presnell family for a Christmas Eve tailgate at the Panthers-Packers game in Charlotte in 2023. Allison shares Allison's love of Josh Jacobs, Orange Theory and half marathons. They completed the Disney Princess Half in Orlando and the Craft Half in Winston-Salem, and Allison Presnell sure hopes the next half is a lot flatter...
Bridesmaid
Allison and Marie have known each other for their whole lives if you count the early years when their parents exchanged Christmas Cards. Allison's Mom, Ginny, and Marie's Aunt, Ann, were college roommates at NC State (Go Pack!). Allison forced her friendship on Marie when she moved into her apartment complex in Savannah in 2016. Later as homeowners, Allison tried to keep up with Marie running around Kensington Park. Marie, Taylor and Allison spent many nights watching Jeopardy and The Bachelor, but once in a while found time for a double order of pretzel nuggets at PS Tavern and then... "one more bar." Marie may be the only person at the wedding likely to cry more than Allison, so somebody please make sure they avoid eye contact during the ceremony!
Bridesmaid
Allison met Monica in 2007 when they studied Biomedical Engineering together at NC State (Go Pack!). Monica and Allison had many memorable college moments together, such as Wolfpack football games, Halloween on Hillsborough, Friendsgiving, and of course, the midnight movie premiere of Twilight. Monica and Allison exchange weekly texts about family medicine and trial Starbucks orders. Even though Allison wishes Monica and her family were back on the East Coast, she has enjoyed visiting the Lawlers in Seattle and Boise over the years!
Bridesmaid
Allison met Ally in 2005 when they played softball together at Central Cabarrus High School. Allison and Ally spent time together every week, hitting BP, eating dinner, and doing homework (despite Ally's protests). Allison tried to convince Ally to play softball at NC State, but she decided to graduate early and go to UNC "so we could play against each other for two years." Ally and Allison once again dominated on the softball together, playing intramurals during Allison's pharmacy school years. Twelve years after Ally and Dustin got married, Allison is finally fulfilling her promise of making Ally wear red at her wedding.
Bridesmaid
Allison met Dana ~2019 when she showed up at Allison's house one night for friend's dinner. Dana truly was Allison's COVID survival partner, keeping her company while cooking dinner on weeknights and going to Tybee every chance they could get! Allison ran after Dana when she was lured into a Garden City home to pick out adorable Pomeranian-Chihuahua puppies (shoutout Kevin). Dana easily talked Allison into driving her car from Atlanta to Omaha so they could explore Beale Street and eat BBQ along the way. Dana changed Allison's life by insisting she get her House of Colour evaluation done, and now Allison won't leave home without her Spring swatches! Dana has been a behind the scenes wedding planning hero, helping Allison make decisions about the wedding colors, decor, attire, and more!
Best Man
Hunter Nelson Crowder everyone! We have been through it all. My first memory of Hunter was when we were friends at Wake County EMS for one week and my father has just passed. He did not know me hardly at all but drove almost 90 minutes to be at the funeral. Best of friends ever since. From being stranded on a boat and having Kenny Chesney rescue us to flying all over the United States to experience life together, it has been a blast. He has always been there for me, and it was a very easy decision to call him my best man.
Groomsman
I have known Ross since I was 12 days old. We grew up three miles apart and went to high school together. We played sports together, did fire fighting together, and we are Pi Kappa Phi fraternity brothers. Ross has been an exceptional friend and one that you can trust to be there through thick and thin. His talents include golf, beer knowledge, and he does enjoy long walks on the beach.
Groomsman
Wills Dean - hands down my best friend in college. We have memories that can not be told publicly. Wills will be the life of the party come wedding day and I can say that he is a wonderful friend. Truth be told, I might not have graduated on time if it was not for a last minute phone call from Wills three days prior to graduation. The rest of this story can not be stated :) Wills Dean, an awesome guy with an awesome heart!
Groomsman
Coach Lancaster, one of the most noble people I know. Kind, funny, and dependable! Unfortunately he is a Cardinals baseball fan which we are still working on making a transition to the New York Mets. Outside of sports knowledge, TJ has a talent for trivia and rocks it every Tuesday night with the team. He also is an expert of mixology.. which is a good and bad things at times :) Truly, TJ is a great man and I am very blessed to see him be part of our wedding. LGM

Honestly, the photo says it all about Mr. Lawrence Green. I first met Lawrence when he was floated out to train with me at Wake County EMS when he was a brand new paramedic in Raleigh, North Carolina. Professionally, I can say Lawrence is an incredible paramedic. Personally, we have a lot in common including our love for the outdoors and traveling. He is a great friend and is reliable in almost every situation to come through for you. He loves to have a great time and will easily be a party animal come wedding day.
Groomsman
I met Adam through Ross at trivia night a few years back and our vibe is there. We enjoy a lot of the same things including a good, relaxing time out. Adam also lives in Bailey, about 5 minutes from my home, and it became easy to connect over a good dinner, or an intense playoff game with the Mets in 2024. Regardless, Adam has been a great friend. Though our friendship is new, it is strong and we will continue to grow throughout our life.

I can't find one negative thing to say about Robert Mitchell. We first met as paramedics in Wake County and our friendship has continued to climb. We have had conversations over the years on a personal level that have helped me get through situations that seemed impossible at the time to make it through. He also is an avid Hurricanes fan and we have spent a few tailgates together and will spend plenty more over the upcoming years. Thank you for being there for me and I can always depend on you to be a straight shooter when I need it most.

Chris and I have known each other... well as long as I have known Allison. Chris and I have several things in common including our love for the outdoors and sports. We often find each other talking about NASCAR on a Sunday evening or about how the deer cameras are looking for the upcoming season. Interestingly enough, Chris is also a member of Pi Kappa Phi, making three brothers in the wedding party. Outside of these things, he is a role model on how to be a great father to his two children and wife. I look forward to calling Chris my brother-in-law and my Dentist.
Officiant
I tell you... if Daryl was not an officiant of the wedding, I would say he would be in the category for groomsman. What a preacher, role model, and friend. My life changed for the better when I walked through the doors of Wave Wilson. It was Daryl who introduced himself to me prior to the service started. Daryl put me at ease and it felt immediately like family and a home for me. We have had conversations over the years that have helped me get through some very hard situations. I love Daryl as a brother, and he made it an incredibly easy decision for me to select him as the officiant at Allison's and I wedding. My prayer is that Allison and I model our marriage through the lens Daryl and his wife Lindsay have provided. I look forward to many more football games over the years.
