Hey Family and Friends, If you are receiving this invitation, just know that you are near and dear to us, the newlyweds, T.J. and Ariel Presley. Although we chose to express our love for one another in an untraditional way, we would be remiss if we didn’t allow an opportunity for our loved ones to be a part of this journey. We are so grateful for our family, friends, co-workers, and community who have supported us with prayers, encouraging words, and love. For those who may not know our story, we met on November 26, 2021, through an Instagram matchup set up by TJ’s cousin, Kenisha — shout out to her, lol! TJ reached out not knowing I had been following (and crushing on) him for years. We talked consistently for about a month before going on our first date at Baumhower's Victory Grille off the Eastern Boulevard in Montgomery, Alabama. I’ll never forget: Ariel walked in wearing black leather pants and all-black knee-high boots. I remember saying, “I know you’re hot with those pants and boots on!” From that day, we knew we had something special. By June of 2022, our love had truly flourished. TJ invited me on his family trip—a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and Princess Cays. After that trip, on June 19, 2022, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Exactly three years later, on June 19, 2025, we made a vow to love, honor, cherish, and respect one another until death do us part. Your love, support, and continued prayers mean the world to us as we join our lives in marriage.
