When I first asked Aaron to accompany me on a Phi Mu date function, his immediate response was, “Heck yes!” His innate confidence was grounding compared to my nervous excitement in the beginning of our relationship. Over the past year and a half, that newness has slowly grown and matured as we've learned what loving the other means. It means putting the other first. It means having the goofiest smile of joy at the sight of the other. It means accepting the other while pushing them to grow in truth. Through our adventures and community, we are still in this process of learning but are so thankful we get to do life together. The Lord has been very clear with His intentions in our relationship and we are simply here to obey His calling on our life. When Aaron asked me to marry him, my immediate response was, “Heck yes!” We are so very excited to start our life together in Atlanta with his finance job at Honeywell and me starting nursing school at Mercer University. We are learning this calling is no easy feat but leaning on each other while pursuing the Lord is transforming and sanctifying. It is a gift that we are able to celebrate our love and God’s love for us at our wedding with those we love and who love us well.
