We are really doing this!

We met at one of the largest outdoor concerts on the island of Jamaica, Reggae Sumfest. Who would have known with the hundreds of people there we would have met, exchanged information and the rest was just that, history.

On this particular day, we traveled by car all over Jamaica it seemed. It was a good day but ,I really only wanted to spend the day at the beach. We were staying at the Rayons hotel. Across from Negril’s 7 mile beach but this man, named Patrick had me everywhere. We visited family and he showed me different little spots. I began to become slightly annoyed. Something he does a lot , annoy me for his pleasure. I should have known something was up because he usually caters to what i want. ok he spoils me. I noticed this trip with him, he carried around a man purse. He would not put it down. It was on his person everywhere. We got back to the hotel and he didn’t open the car door for me, strange, he walked ahead of me, even more strange and hurtful because he is very protective and wouldn’t normally do that. Of course, he got to his room before me, opened the door and allowed the door to close behind him while i stood outside . At this very point, i am now turning red and fumes are coming out my ears. He came back to the door and opened it, popped his head out and asked if I would go to the restaurant on site and get two glasses. Tears now welled up in my eyes but i stomped up the stairs to the restaurant where two female servers greeted me. They looked happy to see me and asked if i were happy, clearly i was not. I got the glasses and went back downstairs. Back to the room, of course the door was locked and I had to knock. He opened the door and there was a light in my eye from his phone. Completely confused I walked in ready to let him have it …but there were balloons and rose petals everywhere. He quickly went down on one knee, his voice was trembling while trying to hold the phone camera and a little ring box. I know he said something sweet that warmed my heart then he said the words , Stephanie, Will You Marry Me? I think I said yes, LOL! Only the video can tell but, let it be known I still have not seen the video.
