Neeti Badve

Sister & Bridesmaid

When i first held Neeti in my arms when she was born, I was excited to be the older sister who would be able to show her how to do everything. I was excited to be the person she would come to when she needed advice on anything that crossed her path in life. However, as we both get older, and arguably wiser, she has grown into a beautiful young woman who teaches me as much as I hope I have taught her. Throughout the years I have been privileged to call her a friend, confidante, and sister. And now, come December, I can't wait to add bridesmaid to that list!

Shyam Desai

Brother & Best Man

Shyam has had the privilege of being my brother for his whole life. He has been my confidante and best friend. We have an unsaid bond that manifests itself most zealously in our passion for our Philadelphia sports teams. Sports were an excuse for us to spend time together and forge that brotherly bond. Despite our busy lives, you can rest assured that we will take advantage of every opportunity to attend several Eagles, Sixers, Phillies, and Flyers games every year. He is the greatest doggone best man I could ask for.

Dimilsa Santana

Bridesmaid

I met Dimilsa early on in my relationship with Chintan. At the time Chintan and I were headed to New York to meet his friend Sean. Sean was also going to bring his girlfriend (and now fiancée) Dimilsa along. That day we walked around New York, took a boat ride in Central Park, and had a fun Italian dinner for four (“Sir, your keys!”). What started out as a double date turned out to being one of the best friendships a girl could have asked for!

Gaurav Naik

Groomsman

When I first moved to Philadelphia to start college at UPenn, Gaurav (“G”) jumped right in and took me under his wing. During my time there, we grew closer through our ridiculous shenanigans, which include (but are not limited to): late night trips to Little Pete’s Diner (RIP), Girl Scout cookies, and projectile Wawa hoagies. Throughout all of these escapades, the biggest thing I learned about G is that whenever I needed him, he would always be there no matter what. Today I am proud to say that one of my cousins has turned out to be one of my best friends and groomsman.

Megan Phansalkar

Bridesmaid

When Megan moved to Philadelphia to start her studies at UPenn, it gave us an opportunity to hang out and spend more quality time together. From meeting up at coffee shops and restaurants to just Facetiming, we grew closer. Now I am happy to call her a friend, a cousin, and a bridesmaid.

Amit Naik

Groomsman

Growing up, Amit (aka “Lalu”) and I would spend countless summers together, talking for an immeasurable number of hours about sports and wack theory. (We got games, B.) Since he has moved closer, Lalu and I have been able to bond with each other over our quirky characteristics like carrying a phone charger everywhere we go. Despite his quirks, Amit is one of the sincerest people that I have had the privilege of knowing. While his love of the NY Giants is somewhat disappointing (insert Eli Manning face here), I am proud to be able to call Amit a cousin, a confidante, and a groomsman.

Priya Dhagat

Bridesmaid

Priya and I met when we first started our time at Drexel University. From the first few times we met, we realized that we had the ability to bond over some of our most quirky characteristics, from our favorite dance moves to our favorite juices. Over time we realized that we could talk about more serious matters as well. Our ability to confide in one another is the biggest reason why I value our friendship. I look forward to having Priya by my side in December when I tie the knot!

Sagar Shah

Groomsman

Despite being a non-blood, Sagar (aka Pops) quickly made his way into the inner family circle. We constantly troll each other in fantasy football and in real life because of his Jaguar fandom. All kidding aside, his loyalty runs deep and I am happy to call him a groomsman.

Raisa Raina

Bridesmaid

I met Raisa while I was studying at Drexel University. We instantly connected over our love of Bollywood movies and music. I knew this friendship was meant to last the instant we both shouted “Khul Ja Sim Sim” as we watched a revolving door open for us. The quality I appreciate the most about Raisa is her big heart towards her friends and family. It is this quality that makes me feel privileged to call her one of my best friends and bridesmaids.

Amit Shah

Groomsman

Amit and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we would often sleep over at one another’s houses and play video games. From spending numerous evenings watching Demolition Man to living together in Center City (Long Live Apt #1610!), our priceless memories are something I will cherish forever. These instants, along with his Philadelphia sports allegiance, are why he has earned a prestigious spot in my bridal party as a groomsman.

Madeline Hartman

Bridesmaid

Madeline and I first met when we started our undergraduate careers at Carnegie Mellon University as we were both living on the same floor in our college dorm. However, our friendship truly began on the very first day of school when we realized that we were both in the same chemistry class. From then on out our friendship grew to the point that we became roommates and even shared Thanksgiving meals with her family. Though we may not talk to each other every single day, whenever we do meet, we pick up where we left off. These type of friendships are so hard to come by, which is why I am so thankful to have developed this type of relationship with Madeline.

Sean Rose

Groomsman

Sean and I first met during our first year in law school. We quickly bonded over our love of the law and live sports. Since we first started dating, Preeti and I have been notorious for traveling around the world with Sean and his now fiancée Dimilsa. From Anaheim to Disney World to the Epcot Center (literally around the world), Sean has taught me the value of friendships that can last a lifetime, and I couldn’t be happier to have him as a groomsman.

Michael Duffy

Usher

Michael (aka Duffy) and I first met in law school at Rutgers and quickly became close friends. Since law school, we have shared many great memories in Philadelphia including late-night karaoke and the occasional Phillies game. Duffy is the epitome of class and humility, and a true gentleman. This usher is going to be the life of the dance floor.

Naveed Karbassyoon

Usher

Naveed and I first met in law school and quickly became close friends through our all-nighters in his apartment before every exam. He has a huge heart and an ability to find the funny side of every situation. For some reason, after law school, Naveed quickly returned to his native California roots (and that’s great man...it’s cool). Naveed is as classy a guy as Michael Jordan, and I am glad he will help me usher you in for the best time of your life.
