We're getting married!

We would like to give a special shout out to Dil Mil, because without them, our Dils would not have Mil'ed :) aka our hearts would not have met. They say opposites attract, but when two beings meet and show one another a whole new world, that is what life is about and all its' adventures. For most of our adult life, we had been in close proximity to one another, but they say timing is everything. One year of fun turned into 3 years of blooming love.

Karnbir could not have orchestrated a more beautiful proposal. He began by asking Preet's parents' for her hand in marriage. They were ecstatic and so happy to have such a respectful and loving future son-in-law. Karnbir involved all of their most nearest & dearest for the planning and for the big day. The day finally came. He took her to the National Mall, specifically the Lincoln Memorial, for a "friends' birthday". Once there, Karnbir waited for the most perfect moment, got on one knee and asked, "Will you do the honor of being my Wife?". Preet being Preet, almost fainted but was able to say "yes, yes, yes!". Karnbir had more up his sleeve at this point. He had gotten a photographer to capture that very moment. It was perfect! Along with an impromptu photo shoot where Preet could not stop smiling. The surprises did not stop there... He then whisked her away to a local DC bar for some celebratory drinks. Once they got there, Preet was greeted by all of her family and friends. She could not contain herself once she was greeted by her family and Karnbir's family. Each and every one of their closest friends were able to join them for this day. She could not believe that Karnbir organized this all! They thank their family and friends for making this beautiful day a success, and one of the most memorable days of their life!
