It’s Happening

Let me tell you how we met... On the night of March 25,2011 Greg and I met in such an untradiontial way. I had just arrived home from my son’s AAU basketball practice; when a masked assailant had approached me as I was getting out of my car and snatched my pocketbook. Upon the police arrival, a detective was called to investigate the crime further. Along came the detective dressed in a Police Polo and cargo pants, with a series of questions, a sarcastic tone, but yet a charming personality and a picture perfect smile. You may have thought it was love at first sight for the two of us, but it remained all business. A month goes by and I had begun doing my own investigative work, where I traced my credit card, located a suspect, and obtained social media posting to support my suspicions. I called to follow up on the status of my case; (or as he would say I jumped into his DM lol..) to find that Detective Pease is out on a leave. Once he returned, he called back to say he was following up on the leads, but was paying special attention to my street to keep me safe. Well there it began, I responded by letting him know that I would be delighted to have a cop patrolling my street.. Through many small talks and lots of laughs, we began to build a friendship, which later turned into love. Fast forward, Detective Pease retired a few years later without solving my case but it was completely ok because he stole my heart and we gained much more than the assailant had taken away. Greg proposed during the Holiday of 2015, we have continued to navigate our journey of love, became the parents of our handsome son Landin to add along with our other children Jazmin, Greg Jr. & Naijee. Greg and I are so excited for our nuptials and can’t wait to continue to spend FOREVER TOGETHER ♥️
