Travel Note

Important Info

Getting to the wedding venue is a bit tricky so we want to make sure our guests arrive safely & with zero issues. Please take special note of the following items when planning your trip to the wedding venue: 1. It's about a 2 hour drive from the IE so we strongly encourage carpooling. 2. You will have to drive on dirt and bumpy roads for about 20 minutes so be aware of the car you'll be driving. Compact SUVs, SUVs & Trucks drive best on these roads but compact cars can make it, just drive slowly & carefully. The roads are empty so there is no rush. 3. There is a dead zone during the last 20ish minutes of the drive so please text us when you are still on CA-62 so we know you are nearby and have your Google Maps already loaded. 4. Please avoid driving at night but if you need to drive home after the wedding, we strongly encourage that you use the same roads you used to arrive. 5. Please use the following directions for whatever city you are leaving from in the IE: 1. Get on 1-10 E 2. Merge onto CA-62 E/29 Palms Hwy 3. Turn Left on Goodwin Rd 4. Turn Right on Valle Vista Rd* 5. Turn Right on Gayley Ln 6. Turn Left on Indian Trail *Google Maps will want you to take Pipeline Rd or Moritz Rd. DON'T DO IT! These are extremely narrow & bumpy dirt roads that might cause you to get stranded in an area with no reception. Please use Valle Vista Rd!!!
