Getting Around

Houston doesn't really have public transportation, so we recommend getting a rental car unless you want to pay for quite a few Ubers. Car rental prices seem to be rising quickly, so we recommend booking a refundable reservation now and then seeing if prices drop later.

Courtyard by Marriott Houston-West University

We have a block of rooms reserved here for $119.00, plus taxes. Parking will be $6.00 a night. This hotel is less than a 10 minute drive away from the church and a 15 minute drive away from the reception venue.

Flight

Which airport should I use?

You can fly into either Hobby Airport (HOU) or George H.W. Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Hobby is a little closer to everything, but the distance is small enough that it doesn't matter compared to whichever airport has more convenient/cheaper flights.

AC Hotel by Marriott Houston Downtown

For folks who want to stay downtown, we have a block of rooms here that will be 15% off the regular rate. Please note, however that parking is $45 plus tax per night. Most of the downtown hotels charge a ton for parking, which is why we recommend staying outside of downtown (there's also not much to do in Houston downtown anyway). This hotel is about 15 minutes away from the church and just 5 blocks from the reception venue.
