Due to unforeseen circumstances, our plans for getting married in Joshua Tree National Park had to be changed. We are now having a small wedding with family and friends on Lookout Mountain.

We first met at Rembrandts Coffee in the Art District of Chattanooga in late November of 2016. We bonded over our experiences as childhood athletes, climbing, and hiking, as well as how good my dog, Evie, was. Neither of us really wanted to stop talking so we ate burritos for lunch and drove up Lookout Mountain. We have been inseparable ever since.

We got engaged in Charleston, SC on February 23, 2019. What I thought was a birthday weekend trip turned into so much more! David somehow arranged for all of our Chattanooga friends, my sister Laurie, and a photographer to show up for a surprise proposal at the Angel Oak. I was completely caught off guard! After saying something about nachos, David said "Will you marry me?" and I said YES! We took our engagement photos all over Charleston right after. It was a whirlwind of a day and I am so excited to share our upcoming adventure with all of you!
