When and where is the wedding?

The wedding is Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Rustic Dreams Barn & Venue, 1413 Alfred St, Lyman, ME.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Guests should arrive no later than 3:30 to find their seat as we will start promptly at 4:00.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semiformal. Think cocktail attire with a touch of summer charm. Suits or dress shirts and slacks for the guys, dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for the ladies. Ties are welcome but not required. Leave the jeans, flip flops, and super casual wear at home. We want you comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate in style with us.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be completely unplugged. Absolutely no phones, photos, or videos during this time. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture every moment, so we kindly ask that all devices remain put away. Being fully present with us during the ceremony would mean so much. Thank you for respecting this special request.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. If weather is poor we will move it inside.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your RSVP.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be a cocktail hour with light snacks, followed by both dinner and dessert.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, but please let us know far in advance to work it out with the catering team.

Is parking or transportation available?

Answer

There is a large amount of parking located right at the venue, so no need to be transported!

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We do not, however please see the "Travel" tab for local hotel recommendations if needed.

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a traditional registry, even if the website says otherwise. All we really want is your presence and good vibes on our big day. For anyone who has asked, we have created a cash fund to help with some home updates, but please do not feel any pressure. Celebrating together is what matters most to us.

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?

Answer

Simple! Just click on the "RSVP" tab and enter your information to secure your spot, but no later than Saturday, July 4th please as we an accurate headcount.
