Question

What's your COVID-19 protocol for guests?

Answer

All guests must provide proof of full vaccination prior to the event and will be tested for COVID-19 on-site on Saturday. On your RSVP card, we asked for an email address for you and any guests attending the wedding (don't worry if you forgot! We'll get it). We will reach out to you after October 18th to download to apps that will be used for the verification and for the testing on-site. We will also provide masks on-site for guests. Please reach out to either Brooke or Alex, or pratticallyperfect21@gmail.com, with any questions.

Question

What constitutes full vaccination?

Answer

We are following the CDC definition of fully vaccinated (as of October 15, 2021). In general, people are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine If you don’t meet these requirements you are not fully vaccinated and we invite you to toast us from afar.

Question

What tests are you using for the COVID-19 screen?

Answer

We will be using the BinaxNOW Rapid Antigen Test, which will be administered by health professionals. Given statistically we are likely to have a few false positives, confirmatory testing will be used for anyone who tests positive through the Everlywell PCR test.

Question

What's your COVID-19 protocol for vendors?

Answer

We have requested fully vaccinated vendors, though not all vendors will be vaccinated for COVID-19. All will be in N95 masks, and all will be tested for COVID-19 on Saturday as well (using the antigen test). Three band members cannot be masked; given this, the full band will receive a PCR test on Saturday, as opposed to the antigen test.

Question

Is the wedding indoors?

Answer

Mostly, yes. Weather permitting, the cocktail reception will be outside in the courtyard. While outdoor space will be available the entire evening, the wedding is mostly indoors. We will be maximizing airflow wherever possible.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:30 PM. And we are sure it'll be hilarious so you won't want to miss a second of it

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire (suits and dresses/jumpsuits/whatever; don't overthink it). But if you want to pull out your tux, go for it!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

You know how much we love kids, but this will be your night off! If you need help with babysitting in Dallas, let us know.

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Valet (including tip) is covered at The Crescent

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

For out of town guests, there will be a rehearsal dinner on Friday night for you to enjoy a longer stay in Dallas!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

For sure -- let us know on the RSVP card if you can

Question

What are the meal options?

Answer

Braised Short Rib, Pecan Dusted Chicken Breast, or Pan Seared Salmon

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

October 18, 2021

For all the days along the way
