Some stories start with a grand plan. Ours started with a simple “hi” — a conversation that was supposed to be casual, but quietly changed everything. From that very first call, it felt strangely easy. We talked about work, life, and random little things… and somehow it never felt like we were talking to a stranger. Very quickly, “just one more call” turned into daily check-ins, shared memes, and those long conversations that make you forget what time it is. Before we knew it, our families were in the frame too. In May, we met in person for the first time, with Vinayak’s parents and Pranjal’s brother - which felt like we had known each other for ages. Then came LA, when we got time together in “real life” — no screens, no time zones, just us. There were long drives, small moments, inside jokes, and the quiet certainty that this was something real. After returning from LA, Pranjal said something that would turn out to be true later: “Ab Dilli door nahi.” Soon after, our parents met in Delhi at Vinayak’s home, and the bond between families felt just as natural as the bond between us. In July, surrounded by our families, we got engaged in Gwalior (Pranjal’s hometown) with the three of us — Pranjal, Vinayak, and her brother Himanshu — celebrating virtually from the U.S. Vinayak even flew down to Tampa… because some moments deserve to be shared side by side. Since then, our days have been a mix of Tampa & Irvine, time zones and flight bookings, virtual movie date nights, phones that are always low on battery, and hearts that are always full of love & somehow never feel the distance. We’ve seen each other on good days and not-so-good days, which made our relationship feel real. Somewhere between all of that, ‘you and I’ slowly became ‘we’. And now, on November 24–25, 2025, we get to celebrate ‘us’ with all of you ❤️ We can’t wait to begin this next chapter of our story, hand in hand, with our favorite people around us. 💫
