Some love stories begin with a spark. Ours began with a gentle, quiet, whisper, long before we even realized it. We grew up attending the same church, children’s camps, teenagers camp and youth camp. Sometimes crossing paths without even knowing. Perhaps we glanced at each other once or twice, but we never spoke. We were just two souls existing in the same space, quietly, unknowingly being prepared for something special. Years later, fate decided it was time, one ordinary day on Facebook, he came across my picture and commented, “I greet you specially.” Simple words… but somehow, they stood out. Curious, I liked the comment and followed him. And just like that, he slid into my DMs. That one message opened the door to everything beautiful. Interestingly, a family member had mentioned him to me before, but I never thought much of it. Little did I know, life had been planting seeds all along, waiting for the perfect moment for them to bloom. From that first conversation, it felt easy, natural, like we had known each other all along. And from there… the rest became our favorite kind of history. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain…” – Psalm 127:1-5 As this is our anchor scripture, we meditate and it resonates with us. We stand today, not just as two people in love, but as a house being built by God.
