My little sister, built in best friend, and the life of the party! She's been there for me through so many of my big and special moments and I'm beyond honored to have her stand by my side. She is full of energy, drive, and encouragement and I can't imagine anyone I'd be prouder to be related to :) Em graduated high school this past weekend and attending Dallas Baptist University to study Business! I have been so blessed to see her faith and joy grow this past year and I can't wait to see how Jesus uses her at college. -R

Where do I begin? Erin is John's oldest sister and responsible for helping me look past the initial awkwardness to realize “wow, he's an attractive guy!” (and good with kids to boot ;). She came down to visit during Spring Break of my freshman year of college and definitely helped nudge us together. Her candid personality and willingness to advise me in the ways of being a God-honoring military spouse makes her one of my closest confidants. -R

I spent quite a few of my younger years growing up around this special cousin but it wasn't until I reached high school that we really grew close! Since then we've shared thousand of texts, advised each other on important matters, swapped countless books, shared Biblical "revelations" and fun facts, and watched lots of Jane Austen. The one that made me a big brother and gave me someone to boss around. We've shared many memories over the years, notably when you fell out of an upstairs window at age 2 and survived. So proud of the man you’re becoming. Will has plans to join the Air Force as well in a few years! -J

I met Kenzie at CBC while volunteering with kids ministry! We both served under Josh Zello (our officiator!) Our friendship grew while we attended SACS and has been steady ever since! This past summer we both worked as lifeguards at Schlitterbahn and it was such a fun experience. Kenzie is one of my greatest encouragers and is always pointing me back to Christ! She's been close to John for years now too and we're both so excited that she can stand with us. She's now studying pre-med at GCU and we are so proud of her!

There's a picture of us as toddlers in diapers and we still talk today. That should tell you all you need to know. In addition to being my friend, Stephen is a pilot and recently completed EMT training. He is also attending Texas A&M in the fall! -J

I completed ALERT training with Geoff which taught us general life skills and how to camp. Because he is one of my older brothers, I have plenty stories of mischief that we got into as children under Geoff's leadership. He is now a police officer in the Ft Worth area and is married to Rosemary. -J

I met Maura my freshman year of high school in our homeschool co-op biology class! She was sweet, smart, encouraging, and quickly became one of my closest friends. We've stayed in touch and been close ever since, and I actually met John at her house! She hosted a game night we both happened to attend, so we pretty much owe it all to this incredible friend. Maura is studying English at Le Tourneau University with plans to start her own Christian school/co-op in the future. -R

My directly older brother who took part in many schemes with me as children. One of our favorite stories is when we set up a barricade on our street, dressed in camo, and required incoming cars to show us their ID in order to pass and go to their homes. Paul now serves with the Texas National Guard at the border. -J
