We met online, through the app Bumble. The fun part though is that we both ran track & field in college and had been at the same track meets multiple times, but never met there! We matched online and instantly formed a connection while talking about our love of travel and track. It didn't take long for us to meet each other's friends & family and realize we both fit perfectly in each others lives.

In the early morning hours of Christmas Day, Kyle rearranged the living room while Rachel was sleeping. Kyle wanted the Christmas tree to be next to the fireplace so there was a perfect photo opportunity for the engagement. In the morning, Rachel walked into the living room to see the tree lit, the fireplace lit and Kyle asked Rachel if she had any presents from Santa under the Christmas tree. Rachel found a gift in her stocking and inside the box was an ornament that had “Will you Marry me?" written on it. Kyle then got down on one knee and asked Rachel the big question. Rachel obviously said "YES"!
