Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe right. We matched on Bumble, but from the very start, he took the lead and planned our first date. Dinner and drinks at The Pearl in San Antonio turned into one of those effortless nights that you never want to end. We talked and laughed until 2 a.m., completely losing track of time. Since that first night, we’ve shared countless amazing dates and adventures together. But the one that will always have our heart was our trip to New Orleans - the day he proposed. After dinner at my favorite restaurant, Atchafalaya, we strolled through the Garden District (one of our favorite pastimes: walking, exploring, and quoting TV shows and movies we love). We stopped at the famous house where American Horror Story: Coven was filmed. I was busy taking photos, and when I turned around, there he was, on one knee, holding the most gorgeous and perfect ring. It was romantic, thoughtful, and completely us. Life has now brought us to beautiful Colorado Springs, where Isaac is stationed. Surrounded by mountains and new beginnings, we’re excited to start our forever together as husband and wife.
