Flying In

We recommend anyone who is not familiar to NYC avoid the area when flying in, unless you're prepared to drive in the NYC traffic. The closest airports are Hartford, CT (hour drive from New Haven) and New Haven, CT (very limited flights).

Train

Metro North

If you are coming to New Haven from NYC or are comfortable with navigating the trains, we recommend taking the Metro North from Grand Central to New Haven.
