We're Getting Married!

Thirteen years ago, Summer met Allen on Monk Island enjoying a boat day with several local families. Allen had just moved into the area at twelve years old and proudly says Summer is the first girl he met upon arrival. After quickly establishing each other as their "brother and sister" they found themselves constantly confiding in one another through those trialing middle school & high school years. Giving dating advice, promising to always have eachothers back and being that person, they always knew they would be close for years to come. When they were 14 years old, Allen picked up Summer to ride on his new Jet Ski one afternoon. While fully clothed. he thought it would be funny to purposely knock each of them off into the freezing water and then had the audacity to ask for a kiss behind Monk Island, she did however, oblige. Fast forward to 2017, one evening at Holden's seafoods fish house (local hangout spot), Allen decided to tell Summer how he really felt about her. While he always says that she meanly denied him that night, she knew he had opened a thought in her mind that had never occurred before. After moving to Raleigh the week after, she realized how much these years of friendships meant and how even if they were very different individuals, their hearts were very much the same. New Years Eve 2018 came and friends were somewhat surprised to witness the kiss, they were overwhelmed with happiness to see the two of them finally together as one.
