In the fall of 2021, Nathan and Jordy were introduced by mutual friends at C&R Pub, the bar that Jordy worked at and that Nathan frequented. They quickly found common ground over Jordy's love for the Patriots (despite also being a Steelers fan??) and as a Massachusetts native, this was definitely Nathan's love language. This love grew much bigger than football over the next few months. Jordy and Nathan officially started dating during their last semester of college. Although, they wish they could have spent all 4 years together at a place that meant so much to each of them, they were so thankful to share the special moments of senior year together. After graduation, Jordy moved to Baltimore and Nathan moved to Rockville, outside of DC. They enjoyed splitting time between the two cities, which both quickly felt like home. Outside of enjoying all that Maryland had to offer, Jordy and Nathan found an early on love for traveling and going to concerts together. Some of their favorite concerts have been The Lumineers, John Mayer, & Hoodie Allen to name a few. They love trips to New England to visit family and escaping to the coast whenever they can. In November of 2024, Nathan and Jordy made a decision they had tossed around for quite some time. They moved to Jordy's hometown of Punxsutawney, PA, to be closer to family and enjoy the slower pace of living. They moved into the home that Jordyn's paternal grandparent's built. Moving into her grandparent's home, has been so meaningful and the perfect fit for them. In March, Nathan planned a beautiful surprise proposal by the pond in front of their home, with their favorite song from the Lumineers (their first concert together) playing. Jordy and Nathan are excited for the next chapter together, but are so thankful for the chapters they have already built.
