Matron of Honor
Meet Shelby! Shelby is the brave soul that decided to join my crazy dysfunctional family, by marrying my brother, WILLINGLY at that! But real deal, even before she married my brother I knew she was going to be my best friend. She has been there for me for every single up and every single down, every move I’ve made, every big life decision I make is typically ran by her first. She even made me an Auntie to two more beautiful babies who I just absolutely adore! Shelby has really just been my biggest supporter, my hype (wo)man and my best friend over these last seven-ish years. I truly could not navigate life without her, nor do I even want to think of a life without her. Though we weren't always friends, in fact there was a time that she wouldn't even talk to me, literally she acted like I didn't exist, and if you're lucky you'll get to hear that story. Having Shelby as my maid of honor was the easiest decision I’ve ever had to make, and I didn’t think twice before asking her to stand up there with me on the day I marry my other half.

My baby sister! Okay, she's not really a baby anymore. She’s a full blown teenager, but she will never be older than 5 in my mind. This beautiful young woman made me a big sister for the very first time when I was just shy of 10 years old. I knew how exciting and cool it would be to have a new baby sibling, but I never would have imagined that we would have such a special bond. After all, I am 10 years older than her. Because of our age difference, I quickly grew into the protective sister/mom roll, which I will hold onto until the day that I die, respectfully. A lot of my life happened before she was born; but imagine the rest of it as if she weren’t? I absolutely can’t. And I won’t. Which is also what I’d say if you’d ask me to imagine not having her be a part of my wedding day.

So picture this; it’s the middle of the summer, I'm 9 years old, we had just moved to a new town so I didn't have any friends that lived by me, and I thought for sure I’d never be able to make any. We get settled in, and I wanted to check out what the new cool play ground outside was like. Aannnnnd then here comes Lindsey. Little 11 year old Bleach blonde, bossy, obnoxious, Lindsey; my new best friend. Ever since that day there wasn’t a day we weren’t together. Literally even our families became just one big family. Until we grew up and moved in our own directions. Even though life happened, Lindsey and I stayed close, In a few short months I will stand with her as she marries her soulmate, but not before she’s there with me when I marry mine.
Best Man
Michael and Kevin met in their high school days through Austin (seems to be an ongoing theme here). Lord knows what kind of trouble three got into, and what kind of trouble these guys somehow got each other out of. Through out the years the three of them have spent their fair share of of time hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, crackin open a cold one, and of course having the occasional “Hell no Man, I’m better than you” grill-off. He’s really been a hell of a friend, and even though everyone’s moved around and started their lives and careers in different cities, he’s stuck around through it all. He really does live up to the title of being the Best Man.
Groomsman
Little baby Bradley, the youngest of the Stief cousins. Michael and his little cousin Bradley have known each other all of one life, and most of another. Growing up together as BOYS, I’m sure you could imagine the memories they have, from having fights with balled up wrapping paper on Christmas Eve, to watching football games on thanksgiving, throwing the football in the front yard, and kicking around the soccer ball. That’s just some of the shenanigans they grew up doing. Even now in their adult life, at family events there’s always something between them, a joke, a punch on the shoulder, a shaken up soda, whatever. You know who’s in the middle of it, and it’s always Michael and Bradley. That’s why we knew he had to be there with us on our special day! Just don’t be surprised when he cracks a joke, or his foot open with a spatula, cause that may have happened once.
Groomsman
Forrest and Michael met through work at Star State Plumbing, where they both still work together. It wasn’t long before they realized they both shared a passion not only for “laying pipe” but also their hobbies, fishing, kayaking, putting various dart holes in our garage (you’ll have to hear that story) and in true Texas fashion a good ol’ bbq cook off. accompanied by an ice cold beer or 12... Throughout the years their friendship has grown, and we’ve even watched his family grow, so asking him to be a part of our day was obviously a no brainer.
