For our 4th anniversary, we decided to celebrate the past four incredible years in the Dominican Republic. We arrived in the Dominican Republic late on a Wednesday, just in time for our anniversary on Thursday, May 30th. We were filled with anticipation for the following day, where our plans were a relaxing morning at the beach and, of course, Eduardo's ultimate passion, golf in the afternoon. The next day, we set out to make the most of our trip, heading to the beach after breakfast. However, Eduardo suddenly exclaimed, "Oops! Left my sunglasses at the apartment. Gotta run back and grab 'em." Little did Karla know, Eduardo had something up his sleeve, or better said in his pocket. Eduardo swiftly made his way back to the beach, diving into the water with the ring doubtfully tucked away in his pocket. Nervous about losing ring, Eduardo's time in the ocean was cut short. Coming out from the water, Eduardo walked towards Karla, and though not fully on one knee, Eduardo made his intentions clear. Without hesitation, Karla said, "YES!" And for those wondering, tee time was still set for 3:00 PM, ensuring that golf and sunset drinks became the perfect celebration for this occasion. We are excited as we embark on this next chapter of our lives and we can't wait to share it with all of you! See you soon!
