Saturday Mornings, 7:00am - 2:00pm Did you know that Carly's 5x great-grandfather (George McGarrah) was one of the original founders of Fayetteville, AR!? The McGarrah Family still owns a farm and orchard within the city limits, and has a booth at the Farmers Market every Saturday. Also, Ryan had Carly's engagement ring made at a local jeweler located in the Square. :) Grab a coffee from one of the nearby shops and go for a stroll around the beautiful town center, window shop the local boutiques, or find a local spot for brunch. Make sure to grab a loaf of the local sourdough, or at the very least, a sourdough cookie!
354655 Arkansas 74, West Fork, AR 72774 If you feel like getting your steps in, we recommend checking out our favorite hike in Devil's Den State Park! Fall is an awesome time to visit the area, as all the leaves are (usually) changing color right around the time of the wedding. Yellow Rock Trail is an easy 2.5-mile loop to one of the best viewpoints in NWA! Devil's Den also has easier walking trails that take you past bat caves and caverns. Text us if you want more info!
One of our favorite things about NWA is their 40+ miles trail system, connecting every town in the metroplex. Along the trail you’ll find some of NWA’s most popular destinations including entertainment, shopping, historic sites, lakes, art projects and cultural experiences. We recommend renting bikes from PHAT TIRE BIKE SHOP (https://www.phattirebikeshop.com/). They have multiple locations along the trail, making it easy to pick up at one end of the trail and return at the other. They can also hook you up with maps and fun stop-offs along the trail. This activity pairs well with the Farmers Market, NWA Ale Trail, or simply riding a bike to a local restaurant or coffee shop. :-)
On your way to the ceremony, make sure to stop by the iconic Onyx Coffee Lab for a quick pick-me-up, located just 2 minutes away from our venue! While they started in Fayetteville, they recently moved their HQ to Rogers as their brand has spread across the US. Great coffee and vibes, with a bakery, a taqueria and mezcal bar, and a high end cocktail bar all created by local chefs and makers.
Crystal Bridges Museum is the intersection of art, architecture, and nature. With free general admission (with tickets to special exhibits) you can view world-class collections of American art. The museum is on 120 acres with 4 miles of walking and biking trails.
Local winery that also serves wood-fired pizzas! You are welcome to walk around and explore the beautiful property while you sip your drink, or relax on their multi-tiered patio. Check out their events page closer to the date to see if they have trivia, live music, or other events.
If you love beer (like us) you have to check out one of the 20+ local breweries we have in the area. The community has created an "Ale Trail" linking all the breweries together with a Beer Passport - you can stamp your passport at each stop you hit! Passports are available at any of the 23 stops on the Ale Trail, and many of the breweries are right off the Greenway, if you wanted to make a bike ride out of it. Check the link below for the list of breweries - some of our favorites are Crisis, Bentonville Brewing, Black Apple Cidery, Rendezvous, and Natural State.
