Absolutely beautiful caves and trails. Dress to get dirty in the caves and wear comfortable shoes. It's possible to spend an entire day exploring.

Delicious pizza that is so good we get it every time we made the trip from Indiana. Taco, BLT, and Canadian bacon and sauerkraut are our top three but you can't go wrong with a stop here. *Dubuque location is our go to.
7 Hills Brewing Company
While our reception is being held at the 7hills event center with them proving both catering and bar services we highly recommend enjoying a meal at their brewery located right next door or even spending some time here before the reception begins.
Dubuque Mining Co
Friendly place with delicious food and great drinks. American food, family friendly for lunch, and in the Dubuque mall.
Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
If you're in the mood for a calm breathtaking and free stroll this is a highly recommended must visit.

Can easily spend an afternoon in this interactive location.
Mines of Spain

Beautiful views where you can see multiple states from one location, parks and easy access to trails this a great spot to just wander around.

Shortest and steepest elevator in the world and a beautiful view at the top.

Mathias Ham Historic Site
Historic landmark of the city dates back to the origin of the city. Includes peeks a prohibition era. The property includes the Louis Arriandeaux log house which is considered the oldest building in the state.
Crystal Lake Cave Road
This location is a much smaller cave system and guided tour as opposed to the Maquoketa caves. Just because it is smaller does not mean it is any less beautiful. The caves have many unique formations such as "The Goose Hangs High" Shown in this photo.
