On a group vacation to West Virginia, Tim decided that white water rafting wasn't enough of an adventure....he added a trip down 178 open back stairs off the side of a mountain to the mix at the New River Gorge Bridge visitor center. For those who don't know, those kind of stairs are nightmare fuel for me and about half way down them my knees froze and I begged for him to just leave me behind and go to the look out point without me. When I realized he wasn't going to take that as an answer we very slowly made it down the rest of the stairs where the rest of our group was waiting for us. In front of an amazing view over looking the New River Gorge Tim proposed and I said yes. It wasn't until later that Tim confessed he had no set plan for the proposal, just knew that he wanted to ask on the trip and was unaware of the stair situation....however, upon further review there is a look out point right next to the one we went to, that didn't have stairs. We are so excited to see everyone and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives!
